Jarrah Stand with Raindrop Feature

Main stem

The main part of this hand crafted stand is made from West Australian (WA) Jarrah with an inlay of WA Karri and a pinstripe at either side using WA Blackbutt.

Featuring a “snake like” shape this stand includes a raindrop design as it was raining when the stand was designed and made. Using European beech inlayed into the base as a contrasting timber.

Cradle

The Guitar cradle is made from Spotted Gum is custom crafted to the shape of the instrument it will carry.

It includes a locator for the guitar pin to sit in with a foam or wool pad in the bottom that the pin will sit on. This also includes two soft back stops made from the same timber as the cradle, each has a cork pad for the guitar to rest against.

Neck and Magnetic Clasp

All stands include:

a magnetic clasp to help keep your guitar in place.

a cork pad at the rear of the neck for the instrument neck to rest against and to prevent the instrument from making direct contact with the timber.

inlay and pinstriping that continue into the neck.

Base

This base includes detailed wood weaving using West Australian pine to give the sharpest contrast and the raindrop feature using European Beech continues into the base. This design in the base gives this a sense of forward movement with the weaving showing ripples in the water.

Finish

All our stands are finished with three or more coats of Polyurethane.
